THE STORY THIS FAR

Born amidst the dense jungles of Thavnir to a religious sect that specialized in the healing arts, Akame spent her childhood following in the footsteps of the other women of her tribe, mastering crystal based alchemy and minor healing magics early on in her life. But she never felt as though staying within her secretive community would do her many favors in the future she saw for herself. So at her first chance, she said goodbye to Thavnir in order to further her training as a healer, thinking it would make her a more valuable asset to her family, travelling to Gridania in her teenage years. But that wasn't the only reason she chose to leave. The majority of her childhood, she had heard a voice in the deepest parts of her mind telling her that her journey had only just begun, and that in time, she would come to see more of the world than she had ever bargained for. The voice seemed to nag her for well on a decade before she inevitably gave in, but all of that she kept to herself, not knowing how her family would feel about the young prodigy telling tales of voices and battles yet to come.
But fate would have other ideas for the young Raen, throwing her into the middle of the fight between the Light and The Dark, her abilities as a healer brining her to the attention of the Grand Companies, and she quickly found herself employeed by the Twin Adders and eventually, The Scions of the Seventh Dawn. While it wasn't an ideal situation for Akame, she gave her all to every call she recieved, saving countless lives and teaching what she knew of alchemy to other healers. At only nineteen summers, Akame was named as a Warrior of Light, a title which she had never claimed to want, but earn it she did. And while most families would have been proud to have a daughter hailed as a hero across their star, Akame's family thought the opposite. After the events that transipred at The Crystal Tower, the Raen woman returned to Thavnir, bringing with her a vastly improved arsenal of abilites and stories to share with the people of her tribe. Only, she found herself the Pariah of the sect, her own mother turning her away from the edge of the village, stating that since Akame had chosen to leave, she was no longer welcomed within their halls. And with that, Akame was free from centuries of traditions and expectations that had been boring down on her shoulders for nearly two decades. She had a decision to make: hold on to the betrayal she felt from her dismissal, or to find a new wind to carry her onward to the future she had seen in her dreams since childhood.
And with one final look back at the jungles and ruins of Thavnir, she retired her healing, taking the oppurtunity to learn new skills, choosing to join an infamous dancing troupe that she had only heard whispers of in her days in Radz-at-Han as a child, quickly adapting to fighting with offensives in mind rather than defenses. And thus did the tradjetory of her life change, as quickly as the wind in a storm. With her newfound wings, she travelled to the edge of the universe and back on wings she grew herself, and her story is not yet over.
